EC&I Control System Design Engineer (PES)

We are recruiting for 2x EC&I Control System Design Engineers for several major nuclear projects based in Warrington. To work within the CE&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking Programmable Electronic System (PES) based Control System designs/updates to meet functional and business needs. The implementation, testing and commissioning of the designs/updates is undertaken by other dedicated site-based teams hence is outside the scope of this role. Essential Experience: * Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC * Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer * Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards * Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines * Providing support to Commissioning * Willingness to support early career Engineers Desirable Experience: * Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards This is a fantastic opportunity to have a positive influence on an expanding engineering company with the option for flexible working Please apply directly to this advert if you are interested
